Discount setting options
All conditions must be met
Choose this option if you are defining more than one condition that must be met by a customer when placing an order and if you want all of them to be met in order for the discount to be applied. In such a case, the promotion you create with this coupon will not be active until the customer meets all the conditions of the discount.
All conditions must be met
The UpMenu online food ordering system makes it possible to grant more than one reward for a customer in a given discount. Mark this option, if you are defining more than one reward and want them all to be used simultaneously.
Discount can be combined with others
If you want various discounts to be combined at the level of the same product, choose this option. In such a case, the customer can use several discounts for the same products.
Disable next promotions
You can also make it possible for a customer to use only one discount when ordering a product. In such a case, check this option and only one discount will be applied for a specific product.
Only charge once per order
Check if you want the discount to be applied only once when placing an order in the online food ordering system. In such a case, when you grant a discount for the second product in the cart, for instance, the customer will only receive a discount for one pair of products, regardless of how many pairs they order.
Discount more expensive products
The UpMenu online food ordering system discounts cheaper products by default. If you want the discount to be granted for more expensive products, check this option.
Skip minimum order price validation if promotion is counted
When the price of a product in the cart is reduced, it may turn out that it dropped below the minimum order value. When you check this option, the customer will be able to place an order despite that, if the price of products before discount exceeded the minimum amount. Otherwise, the customer will have to order something else so that the online food ordering system makes it possible to finalise the order.
Checking this option disables the discount. If you use it in a promotion or coupon, it will no longer be valid.
Enabled on specific days and hours
Your discount may only be used on specific days and hours. When you check this option, you will be able to specify when the discount is to be active. A customer who places an order beyond the specified time will not even see that a discount can apply to specific products.
Conditions of discounts in the UpMenu online food ordering system
The discount conditions specify what activates a discount. In order to benefit from the promotion or discount voucher, they will have to meet conditions you define when placing an order. They can relate to whatever is in the cart, the order value or who the customer is.
Having a number of conditions that are possible to enforce, will make it possible for you to create different promotions in the online food ordering system that are often very advanced. This way, you will encourage customers to place more orders, while earning more profit.
