Customers often want to have the possibility of cancelling an order if the time of processing is not suitable for them. They are hungry and want to eat quickly. Your restaurant is not able to prepare food for them within a timeframe that will satisfy them.
Setting the possibility of cancelling an order
- In the UpMenu online food ordering system administrative panel, choose “Settings”, and “Order settings”.
- In “Other settings” check to following option: “Ability to cancel the order (not recommended)”.
- After checking this option, the following field will appear: “Specify the time of automatic acceptance of the order“ – this is where you specify the time allowed for the customer to cancel an order.
- Save changes.
