How to add and delete loyalty points from a customer’s account

The UpMenu online food ordering system makes it possible to add loyalty points in a loyalty program in three ways. It will work online and in the restaurant.

When placing an order

When your customer places an order on the restaurant website or in the mobile app through the online food ordering system, points will be added automatically in line with the conditions of the loyalty programs you define.

In a restaurant, through a PIN using a restaurant mobile app

  1. In the “Orders” section, click “Options” and choose “Add loyalty points”
  2. Enter the PIN from your restaurant mobile app that the customer will give you, and the order value.
  3. Save changes – the online food ordering system will find the account of the customer and add the points.

Adding points manually to the customer account

  1. In the “Customers” section, find a customer to whom you want to add points and click “Details”
  2. Click “Details” next to information about the loyalty program
  3. In the top right corner, click “Add loyalty points”
  4. Fill out the form with the number of points you want to add
  5. Save changes – points will be added along with information on how a user of the online food ordering system collected them.

Deleting loyalty points

  1. In the “Customers” section, find the customer to whom you want to add points and click “Details”
  2. Click “Details” next to information about the loyalty program
  3. On the right-hand part of the screen, you can find the history of adding loyalty points of a customer. Click “Delete” next to the points you wish to delete.

Deleting points from a customer account manually

  1. In the “Customers” section, find the customer for whom you want to delete points and click “Details”
  2. Click “Details” next to the information about the loyalty program
  3. In the top right corner, click “Add loyalty points”
  4. Fill out the form with the number of points you want to delete preceded with the “-” sign.
  5. Save changes. Points will be deleted from the customer account.
