The UpMenu online food ordering system makes it possible to disable the possibility of ordering food on the restaurant website and in the mobile app, and then to enable it again.
Enabling and disabling the online food ordering system
- Go to the “Settings” section
- Choose “Order settings”.
- At the top of the page, in “Availability of orders” you can enable or disable the possibility of ordering using a slider.
Additional options when online orders are disabled
Message for customers
When orders are disabled, you can set a message for your customers and specify the reason for not accepting orders. This information will be displayed when they open the menu.
Automated order enabling
You can set automated enabling of orders if the break in accepting orders is temporary and you know exactly when you can start providing food delivery services again.
What will your customers see?
When the orders are enabled
When the orders are enabled, the “Order” button and the cart will be visible in the menu. The customer can add products to cart and place an order.
When the orders are disabled
If you disable the online food ordering system, products and prices will be visible without the “Order” button.
