What’s New at UpMenu (July 2023)

Content

We’ve decided to start this ‘What’s New?’ series to help you better understand the product and squeeze everything out of its features.

This month we’re introducing:

  1. New mobile app
  2. Wolt Delivery integration
  3. Better QR-code menu (more customization!)
  4. New look for your Dashboard
  5. Orders management with new toolbar

Let’s get to it.

1. All-new mobile app

We’re constantly working to improve the UpMenu mobile app. In case you missed it, we’ve re-designed the entire app to make it look better and more intuitive for your customers to order food directly from your restaurant.

The changes are purely visual, so there is no need to worry about a potential drop in user experience. Your customers are getting the app they were used to with a fresh, modern look.

As always, let us know what you think about the changes. We’ll continue to update the app regularly so that both you and your customers have all you need. Remember, we want the app to serve you best, and to do this, we need your feedback.

2. Wolt Delivery integration

This one’s a biggie. You can now use the latest Wolt delivery integration to have Wolt deliver the orders directly to your customers. It’s a huge development for all the restaurant owners who don’t have their own delivery service.

3. Better QR code menu

You can now customize your QR code menu on a whole different level. The changes might not be rocket science, but it’s something a lot of users have been asking for. You can now change the colors of your QR code menu to match your branding.

You can also make your menu even more unique by uploading your logo. And, of course, it’s all very easy to do.

But there’s more. You can now print a QR code that links directly to the menu and to a specific table. Why is this important?

Since you can have a separate QR code on every table, it’ll be much harder for your customers to miss it. Crucially, your staff will know exactly which table to serve, making the entire process much smoother and more customer-friendly.

4. New look for your Dashboard

We’ve decided to clean up the dashboard just a little bit to make it more transparent and easier for you to run your operations from. The goal was to put the key statistics right on your dashboard so that you could run focus on what’s really important.

The changes are mostly visual, but we’ve also made sure to include a couple of helpful resources so that you can get the best out of your UpMenu experience. Tell us what you think!

5. Orders management with a new toolbar

You asked—we delivered. The quick-access toolbar makes it easier for you to sort your orders smoothly. We’ve made it more visible and approachable so that you can’t miss it. It’s a simple fix that we hope will make your life a bit easier.

And that’s about it for July. We’ve got a lot of new features coming out every month. Subscribe to our newsletter to stay up-to-date with all the features and get the best out of your app.

Enjoy!
